EDITORIAL DESIGN
COMISSIONS BY THE CASA CULTURAL AMÓN
Both of the following editorial examples correspond to projects commissioned by the Casa Cultural Amón, a cultural extension body of the Costa Rica Institute of Technology in their San José Campus. The aim of this body is the preservation and diffusion of culture in the city of San José. Said campus is located in the historic Amón Neighborhood where most of the buildings are protected by the Costa Rican State as Historic and Architectural Heritage. Thus, as part of the Casa Cultural Amón’s project titled “Urban Memory” the creation of the following editorial projects was commissioned, the projects themselves are dependent projects of the Casa Cultural Amón’s project.
“REMEMBRANZAS DE UN HOGAR, MEMORIA ÍNTIMA DE UNA CASA DE AMÓN”
This project focuses on the Intimate Memory of the Huete Quirós Family and their life in their house over several generations. The content and layout of this project was created and curated entirely by me with assistance from Jürgen Schultz Harrington . I must comment that the text was also written by me.
“AMÓN BARRIO & FAMILIA: MEMORIA ÍNTIMA DE LA FAMILIA SERRANO BONILLA”
On the other hand, this project focuses on the Intimate Memory of the Serrano Bonilla Family, their life and memories in their house in the neighborhood. The content of this project was curated by the personnel of the Casa Cultural Amón, while the layout and cover were designed by me.

The design and layout of Brand Identity Guidelines also qualify under Editorial Design. Unfortunately, some of these I may not show entirely due to the fact of them being confidential to some extent.
